If you could change anything about how government works, what would it be?

I’m collecting input specifically on **term limits and cognitive standards**.

*Short answers are perfect.*

- Yes / No
- If yes:
  - House: ___ terms or years

  - What would they be?

---

## Should there be cognitive requirements for public office?
- Yes / No

If yes:
- What should be tested? (memory, attention, decision-making, etc.)

## Common Objections
- Founding principles was such that maintaining favor with your constituency was in effect the term limit.
- The incentives to work for the people are diminished if at end of term.
- Those terming out begin to lose influence, thus diminishing their positions of power.
